Itinerary:

• Drive to Palm Springs for Lunch

• Drive around to see some of the famous houses

• Continue on to Joshua Tree/21 Palms

• Next Day: Enter the Park from the north and drive South back to San Diego

• Stop by Julian on your way back for some pie!

Stop for lunch at King's Highway at the Ace Hotel

Drive around to see some great houses:

• Elvis Honeymoon getaway

• Frank Sinatra

• Liberace

• etc.

Good dinner places in 29 Palms

• La Copine

• Kitchen in the Desert

Next morning, get coffee at The Joshua Tree Coffee Company before getting into the park.

Enter the park from the north side and drive all the way down to the south.

Stop by Julian on your way back to San Diego and stop for a pie at the Julian Pie Company
